By DAVISZR1 on June 5th, 2009 at 6:31 am

if u kindof listen …
if u kindof listen closely the 2 have very distinct sounds in the high range the gibson has a very warm tone with low resinance and the prs has kindof a hot tone with some resonance personaly i like both equaly, but prs usualy sells cheaper than gibson so ide go with that

Dude u got one of …
Dude u got one of the most ties sounds out there!! u got this rly bad wasp sound just with less sustain and moore bass to it… Sounds like a box with post added distortian.. You got two very fine guitars there, but u REALLY screw up BIG TIME when it comes to showing them both off. PRS rocks custom’s !! You can NEVER get a bad PRS( even the PRS SE series rocks)

im a prs guy, with prs you could never get a bad one. ive heard you can get a bad fender and gibson, not good. paul reed you make one fine guitar

By Jaymz007 on June 5th, 2009 at 6:31 am

They are both very …
They are both very nice and I think each has their place. By just listening, I think the PRS would be a better “lead” instrument. The LPC has a much warmer tone and would make a much better rythem guitar. This is not to say that both wouldn’t handle the other job, its just that how this recording is set up, that is the impression I get.
Peace

I think the PRS …
I think the PRS sounds very, very shrill (probably the camcorder). I do not like it at all, but the Paul sounds beautiful even with the camcorder. Love that Paul!!!

does that les paul …
does that les paul have a sandwhich body?

very good review
very good review

By keithsa41 on June 5th, 2009 at 6:31 am

the PRS is more …
the PRS is more versatile with 5 way switch and wammy tremelo and locking tuners… plus it’s a 25″ scale.. middle between fender 25 1/2 and gibson 24 3/4 scales.. PRS is easier to play includng upper register… Although the prs color is horid green.. which sucks.. Paul Reed Smith took best of both worlds (fenderish strat components and gibson) and morphed the PRS….

By Burnboy85 on June 5th, 2009 at 6:31 am

I personally like …
I personally like the prs a bit better for clean, it a lot more bassy and nice, but I’d take the les paul over the PRS

By JmAA7192 on June 5th, 2009 at 6:31 am

There is no better! …
There is no better! Sound is an subjective opinion, if you think it sounds good, it sounds good. Nothing is better than anything else though.

true, especially because its easier to play higher on the fretboard :)

By ARVNpistola313 on June 5th, 2009 at 6:31 am

Personally i prefer …
Personally i prefer the Les Paul but PRS is also pretty impressive.

The people clicking thumbs down on the people who prefer PRS are plain stupid.
