Totally disagreed with you I was born in Chicago but I am 100% PR, I’ve only been in PR twice but Boricua d Corazon so just accept what you are a Boricua and your childs are Boricua regarless of what their birth certificate say

Most ‘Latin American” award winners are not really all latin They are American Latin Puerto Ricans. Most music and arts awards, more Miss Universe, most people with college degrees, 6th most educated people in the world. More Boxing champs per capita. I believe that …
I believe that regardless of your ancestry, you are a product of where you were born and of that nationality. Joaquin Phoenix was born in PR therefore, he is Puerto Rican. If you are born in the US, you are AMERICAN of whatever ancestry you have in your blood line but you are still AMERICAN. Many Dominicans, Cubans, Mexicans, etc. are born in PR and consider themselves Puerto Rican. I was born in Puerto Rico and my Son was born in the US, making him an AMERICAN of Puerto Rican ancestry.
