OBSNews interview with Rajiv Parikh, CEO of Position2, an search and social media marketing company.

Parikh describes how his company manages online social media campaigns for purposes of brand reputation management and defense strategy. They also promote the company’s customer-serving content, informational articles, and the like.

Position2 aims to capture positive and negative comments about his clients’ and address negative issues.

“Never let a charge go unanswered,” said Parikh. He describes the work as labor intensive and that is why his firm uses teams in Bangalore, India to do a lot of the day-to-day monitoring of client accounts across the various social networks.
